I'm a long-time Star Trek fan, having watched it in first run in the 1960's. Had to watch on the B&W TV in my room, because it was on late Friday nights.

Attended some of the earliest conventions from 1976 - 1980. Went to High School a few blocks from the Federation Trading Post and haunted the place.

I like most Sci-Fi like Star Trek, BSG, Irwin Allen shows, Space: 1999, Star Wars, Buck Rogers, and the like.I like to read, listen to music, listen to talk radio, write, draw, and cook.

I became physically disabled in 2006, so am limited in how much I can walk. I enjoy staying home and watching movies, cooking meals, cuddling, and talking about anything. But, an occasional night out is do-able.

I am about 6ft tall, Blond hair, blue eyes, and carry a few extra pounds. I recently shaved the beard and mustache in my pictures, but it will be back someday.

I have been lucky to be crew on two episodes of Star Trek: Phase 2 -- and prize the experience. I met some really wonderful people there who are still my friends.

I am divorced, with no children. I would have liked to have had children, but I think I missed my chance.I am Christian, I go to church sporadically as I can. I am politically Conservative, but tolerant of others differing beliefs and lives. I don't smoke, and only drink socially. I don't require a partner to be the same, but she has to be able to be OK with who I am, how I am, without trying to change me. And, I promise not to try to change her. Been there, done that, was in the massive train wreck it caused.

I'm looking for someone who wants to take the time to develop a great relationship. I'm not looking for hook-ups, or quickies. I'm a very loyal and loving person. A good relationship takes time so we can develop shared experiences and bond. I want to find my best friend who I smile when I think of her, and always look forward to being with.
