Hello there, this is the part where I shamelessly promote myself. Or that’s the theory anyway. Ah, the pain of self-description... (ready for my self-aggrandizement? Here goes) I'm the quiet but mischievous one that often pops out with a comment or provokes a mission of madness. I've best been described as an extroverted introvert with academic wanderlust (creative but true) My interests include writing, reading, and music (The Holy Trinity of pastimes). I’m a staff writer at Trek.fm. So obviously I’m that kinda loon. I also enjoy walks, sitting at the beach contemplating the waves, exploring a lost empire (I can dream can't I?). I love in depth discussions and the exchange of ideas, history (have to...got a degree in it), Russian/Soviet history or European history and art, philosophy and just about everything except golf and knitting. I have a strong personal sense of faith. I can be cynical and sarcastic (okay, it's a fairly consistent theme) but I'm also an idealist trying to merge reality with the potential. I try to see and comprehend the broader scope of things. Sometimes I even manage to do it (yay!). I'm an admitted sci-fi nut but also dabble in just about every other genre. I love period piece drama and classical theatre (refer above: history). Be warned, I'm also a news and social/education issue junkie. Are you intelligent, know you own mind and express your opinions? Are you exploratory and open to new ideas, concepts and discussion thereof? Are you BREATHING? (Sometimes the last is hard to find in this age of vampire and zombie wannabes) I love COFFEE (no priorities here at all, eh?) and would love to share some. A warning though: my humor and mischievous streak will undoubtedly make an appearance. If you're cute and you know it, clap your hands and then get busy with your reply. Who knows what goofiness will ensue?
